(4) 40 mm Die Set (for obtaining round plaques)
This Die Set is used to form 40 mm dia. circular discs ( round plaques ).
It consists of outer stainless steel die, two punches with mirror-finished surface, long pusher rod & transparent disc removal ring.
The Die can be subjected to a Max. Load of 40 Tons.
(5) 40 mm Die Set (for pressing samples in Aluminium Cups)
This Die Set is used for pressing powder samples in 40 mm dia. Aluminium Cups. It consists of cylindrical punch, adapter, bottom plate & sample
removal ring. All die parts are made of hardened & ground stainless steel.
Cylindrical Punch has a smooth mirror-finished surface to
obtain excellent sample quality.
The Die can be subjected to a
Max. Load of 40 Tons.

(6) 40 mm Die Set (for pressing samples in Re-usable Steel Rings)

This Die Set was developed to overcome the limitations of using Aluminium cups. The problems of high long-run cost of Aluminium cups , disposal of cups & wastage of valuable sample powder pressed in the cups can be easily solved by using this die set.
The Die Set is used for pressing powder samples in 40 mm re-usable stainless steel rings. It consist of cylindrical punch, sleeve, springs, adapter, bottom plate & ring removal punch. The die set is made of hardened stainless steel and die parts have a close tolerance.
The Die can be subjected to a
Max. Load of 40 Tons.

Note
All the above Die Sets are used for pressing powder samples of cement, clinker, clay, limestone, glass & other metallic powders for X-Ray
analysis. Dies of non standard size can also be
manufactured, on request.
(7) Re-usable Steel Rings
These rings are made from Special Steel & are manufactured by a specially - developed process. These rings can stand high pressure (they do not crack or bulge under pressure). Once X-Ray analysis of each sample is done, the sample pressed in the steel ring can be removed & the same ring can be used for further sample preparation.
Also, the pressed powder sample can be reprocessed & used
for some other purpose. |
